Impact Window Warranty and 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

Our impact window warranty has two parts. Storm Pro Window and Door backs every installation with a lifetime workmanship warranty and a 100% satisfaction guarantee, covering how our in-house crew installs your windows and doors. The products also carry manufacturer warranties, which vary by brand and product.

What Does the Impact Window Warranty Cover?

Workmanship warranty (Storm Pro)

Our lifetime workmanship warranty covers the installation work performed by our in-house installers.

Manufacturer warranties

The manufacturers we work with offer lifetime warranties on their windows and doors. Coverage for glass, frames, hardware and finishes varies by brand and product line. Your paperwork lists the specific product and warranty. See the brands we install.

Which Coverage Applies to My Problem?

In general, workmanship coverage addresses problems caused by how a product was installed, such as fit, fastening or sealing at the opening. Manufacturer coverage addresses defects in the product itself, such as a failed seal between panes or a defective part.

Normal wear, storm or impact damage, and changes made by others are commonly treated differently, so read your written impact window warranty. Not sure which applies? Call us. We will look at the problem and help sort it out, including working with the manufacturer on product claims.

Protecting your warranty

Why Does Our Install Process Protect Your Warranty?

Many issues that lead to an impact window warranty call start with the opening, not the product. That is why we never install into a rotted or structurally unsound frame, and why every job follows the product’s approval documents for anchoring and sealing.

Our in-house crew pulls the permit, installs to code and closes out with a final inspection. See how we handle window installation and door installation, and read about permits and building code.

Why Keep Your Permit and Product Approval Documents?

Keep your contract, invoice, permit, final inspection and the Florida Product Approval or Miami-Dade NOA numbers together. You can look up approvals at floridabuilding.org. These records help in three ways:

  • Warranty claims. Manufacturers usually ask for proof of purchase and product details.

  • Insurance discounts. A wind mitigation inspector documents opening protection on Form OIR-B1-1802 and needs approval numbers, permits and install dates. Learn about wind mitigation discounts

  • Selling your home. Buyers, inspectors and insurers often ask for proof that openings are impact rated. Learn about product approvals
